So , today I ran around going to the council etc to try and sort out the problem with the landlord and the flat that is falling down around my ears. I got told by the council that it is nothing to do with them and it is a civil matter. They said the only thing they said I could do was make an official complaint and they would then get hold of the landlord. I told them that if I reported it and the landlord knew then I would get kicked out and was told "well thats up to you but as you aren't on benefits we can't help you"
I then tried to go to CAB and they had closed down the one in South Woodford so I trapsed all the way over to the one in Ilfford and found a notice on the door saying " walk in centre closed due to too many people using service". They are now not open until Thursday. 
It looks like I am going to have to just move out and possibly lose my deposit as I am willing to bet the landlord won't be giving that back to me without a fight. It isn't going to be until after new year now ..will have to put up with this place until then.
It just frustrates me sooo much that there seems to be no support from anyone if you rent privately and have a job/support yourself etc. The wall could actually fall down and the council would still do nothing, yet if I was a lay about and didn't have a job they would find me a flat within weeks and I wouldn't have to pay council tax........ life is unfair sometimes.

Anyway, enough ranting - it could be worse and I have my health etc and my mates. Gig this weekend will hopefully go someway towards cheering me up :) Will be great to see everyone :)
